Hinged or Pivot:

Hinged: a piece of metal that fastens the edge of a door, window, lid, etc. to something else and allows it to open or close
Pivot: the central point, pin, or shaft on which a mechanism turns or oscillates
A hinged or pivot systems works best on single doors or windows smaller than a width of 1200mm wide.
This system allows the shutters to open in a cottage style, opening inwards into a room. Most hinged or pivot shutters are either single or double panels on one opening.

EASY TO CLEAN
Rigidcore shutters are so simple to clean, all that is required is a damp cloth and a wipe down.
